Memorial Day Weekend

Happy Memorial day weekend and happy Pentacost Sunday --which commemorates the descent of the Holy spirit upon the apostles and the followers of Jesus as described in the Book of Acts, Chapter 2. Penatcost Sunday saw symbolic red on most of team shocker as you can see above. We could have used some of those supernatural gifts from Acts, such as speaking in others tongues, as nature was having issues on Windsor today. It never is a good sign to hear your five year old say, "Hope, just look at its eyes, if you see an X, that means he is dead," which is how I happened on her and her two year old sister petting a dead squirrel. It was in mint condition though, guess it was on the short side of a tangle with a power line. Also, two baby blue jays were lost, dazed and confused, see above, we tried sorting this out and occupying Henry so he didn't eat them. Other days events: K went off to see a nine hour Pirates movie which I am sure she will review later, while the two runts hung with Papa Shock for Round Two and Three of slip and slide and enjoying the 87 degree sun. Shorty was off with her bud to see Shrek 3, which I am sure she will review later, at the DRIVE-IN (what is better than that?) movie theatre. Nachos (not Wilson style, sorry Jeffrey) and margaritas was a perfect cap to a great day. Hope everyones went equally well...
