A Misc. Week @ the Shockley's

It's been quite a week at the Shockley's

Two weekend's ago - we realize there was a water issue with our roof in the kitchen area -- food for thought, if there is a big stain and a buldge in the ceiling, DON'T poke it with a knife... - then it will cost you several dollars at Lowe's, and on same said day the dishwasher broke for the umteenth time and we just bit the bullet and got a new one.

But, we got it home, David hooked it up - see last posting... and it worked but it just didn't wash dishes ??? and the normal cycle was 2 hrs and 14 minutes - you'd think it would clean but nope.

I have since gone back to Lowes' explained they needed to come get their dishwasher and i picked a new one - Memo to all "don't buy Samsung appliances"

And back to the kitchen ceiling, David and I spent Sunday afternoon repairing ( quite nicely ) the ceiling.... you will notice the kitties don't like to be left out of anything... the girls played Wii - but the kitties, right there in the thick of it!

Ok, this is just charlie, when he finds himself outside and wants to come in - he jumps on the kitchen window sill, like "hey, anyone??? can I come back inside???"

good thing he's cute.
