Christmas In Roanoke 12-17-2011

The annual pilgrimage to Roanoke... Memaw, Grandaddy host both shockley clans and the brother Pillow and family.  Lots of good time spent, food eaten, and visiting with family.

Christmas Cookies 12-22-2011

 Making Christmas Cookies........ chocolate covered pretzel's at the moment.

 This is our new daughter Edith.... she bought this hat with her christmas money at the Orange Market gas station in Roanoke, and it was worth all $9!  She wears it all the time and for those who are familiar with "Dispicable Me" will see why I now call her Edith.

Christmas Play at SSPC 12-11-2011

 ok, so this isn't Hope in the play... she lost her front tooth the week before her speaking part in the play!

 Nothing like a gap and a straw to fill it!

 The girls helped make the meatballs for baked spaghetti for our Wednesday Night Dinner at church....

Not sure about the matching white tank tops as it was Nov 29th... but they are Shockley girls so being warm usually isn't a problem.............

Decorating the Christmas Tree 11-27-2011

 We got home from the beach and dragged out all the Christmas decorations.....  went from being at the beach to hanging lights..talk about opposites!

 Our tree revolves, so you have to hang the ornament quickly or you miss your spot!
